API & System Integration Services your systems sharing data without manual re-entry

O Clock Software, headquartered in Chennai, India, connects the systems you run, such as ERP, CRM, warehouse, POS, HR and custom applications, so data flows between them automatically. We choose real-time, batch or event-driven sync for each flow, and monitor every one so failed syncs are caught and fixed.

What we build

API & System Integration: what we build

Separate systems sharing data reliably, in real time or on schedule. Here are the six kinds of system integration services work we are asked for most often.

Choosing the sync style

Real-time, batch or event-driven integration?

Different data needs different timing. Choosing the right style for each flow keeps systems consistent without overloading them.

Real-time API calls Scheduled batch Event-driven
How it works One system calls another when needed Data moved on a schedule Systems publish events; others react
Best for Stock checks and live lookups Large volumes such as nightly reports Orders, status changes and notifications
Freshness Immediate As fresh as the schedule Near real time
Coupling Tight: both systems must be up Loose Loose
Watch out for Failures when the other system is down Stale data between runs Event ordering and duplicates

Straight answers

Is API & System Integration right for you?

We would rather recommend less than sell you more. Here is how we judge it.

A good fit when

  • Staff re-type data between systems
  • Systems disagree about stock, orders or customers
  • Point-to-point links have become fragile
  • A new system must join your existing landscape
  • You only need one external service connected

    See Third-Party Integration.

  • A packaged connector already exists

Use it if it covers your data and volumes.

  • Nobody agrees which system owns the data

Agree data ownership first; integration cannot settle it.

FAQ

API & System Integration FAQ

What does a system integrator do?

A system integrator connects an organisation's separate software systems so they share data and work together, designing data flows, building connectors or middleware, and monitoring the integrations in operation.

Should integrations be real-time or batch?

Use real-time integration when users need current data immediately, such as stock checks; use batch for large volumes that can wait, such as nightly reporting; and use events for changes other systems must react to, such as new orders.

What is point-to-point integration and why is it a problem?

Point-to-point integration links each pair of systems directly. As systems are added, the number of links grows quickly and becomes fragile; an integration layer or event hub keeps the landscape manageable.

Can you integrate with SAP, Dynamics or Odoo?

Yes. We integrate with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo and custom ERPs through their APIs, connectors or file interfaces, depending on what each system supports.

How do you handle failed syncs?

Failed messages are retried automatically, moved to a review queue if they keep failing, and reported through alerts and reconciliation reports so nothing is silently lost.

How do you decide which system owns which data?

We agree a source of truth for each data type, such as customers in the CRM and stock in the ERP, with the owners, and design every integration around it.
