Our services

15 Commerce, POS & Business Systems services

We build the systems that run stores, restaurants and operations: point-of-sale, online commerce, CRM, ERP, RFID tracking and inventory. Our own POS, RFID and asset products mean we have lived with these systems in production, not just built them once.

The connected store

How your commerce systems should fit together

Most operational headaches, such as wrong stock counts, duplicate customer records and end-of-day reconciliation, come from systems that do not share data. We design around one shared core that every channel reads from and writes to.

Every node syncs through APIs and queues, and POS terminals keep selling offline and reconcile when the connection returns.

How we deliver

How we deliver Commerce, POS & Business Systems

Five steps, adapted to this kind of work, with working software or a tested prototype shown at every stage.

  1. 01

    Walk the floor

We visit an outlet or warehouse and map how orders, stock and customers actually move.

  2. 02

    Model the data

One product, stock and customer model shared by every channel.

  3. 03

    Build & pilot

Ship to one location or channel first and fix what real use reveals.

  4. 04

    Roll out

Location-by-location rollout with training and data migration.

  5. 05

    Support & extend

Device support, updates and new channels as you grow.

Straight answers

When this is the right call, and when it is not

We would rather recommend less than sell you more. Here is how we judge it.

A good fit when

Retail, F&B and hospitality operators, multi-location businesses, and any company that needs sales, stock and customer data in one place.

  • POS, kitchen display and self-order kiosks that work offline
  • Real-time stock across stores, warehouses and online channels
  • CRM and ERP modules shaped around your operations
  • An off-the-shelf POS already fits

For a single outlet with standard menus or products, a mature POS app is quicker to start with. Custom POS earns its place with multiple outlets, unusual workflows or deep integration needs.

  • A standard store is enough

Most catalogues sell well on Shopify or WooCommerce with the right apps. We will recommend that before a custom build.

  • The data is the real problem

If product, stock and customer records are inconsistent today, new software will not fix them alone. We plan data cleanup into the first phase.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Commerce, POS & Business Systems

What commerce and business systems does O Clock Software build?

O Clock Software builds 15 kinds of commerce and business systems for retail, restaurant and multi-location businesses. They are POS software (including Android, restaurant and retail POS), eCommerce stores on custom code, Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento, marketplaces, CRM, ERP, RFID software, inventory management, payment gateway integration and business automation.

Should we build a custom POS or use an off-the-shelf one?

Use an off-the-shelf POS when you run one or two outlets with standard workflows. Build a custom POS when you run many locations, need unusual workflows such as kitchen routing or queue management, or need the POS tightly connected to your own eCommerce, ERP or loyalty systems.

Does your POS software work without internet?

Yes. We build POS apps offline-first: sales, orders and stock changes are stored on the device and synced automatically when the connection returns, with conflict handling so nothing is lost or counted twice.

Can you connect our POS, online store and inventory?

Yes. We design a shared product, stock and customer model and connect each channel to it through APIs, so a sale in-store or online updates stock everywhere in near real time.

How does RFID inventory tracking work?

RFID tags on products or assets are read by handheld or fixed readers without line of sight, so hundreds of items can be counted in seconds. The readings sync to a central system that shows stock or asset location in real time and flags missing items.

Do you build CRM and ERP systems or customise existing ones?

Both. We build custom CRM and ERP modules when your processes do not fit a package, and we integrate or extend platforms such as Salesforce when they cover most of the need.

Do you have your own POS and inventory products?

Yes. O Clock Software builds and runs its own Restaurant POS, RFID Stock Inventory, Asset Management and FinEdge products, which can be deployed as they are or used as a starting point for a custom build.

Can you roll out a new system across many locations?

Yes. We pilot at one location, fix what real use reveals, then roll out location by location with device setup, staff training and data migration, so trading continues throughout.
